HAPPY TUESDAY with Random Thoughts

am I up for the job? All I have to do in this profession is...be me. I am applying for the position of Heidi Dare Turner Jenkins. Just as well get motivated to do my job. Lol!

Who got the memo? I reckon it's kind of obvious. I look and sound like myself.

Maybe I could hire someone else to substitute. Nah, that would not work, would it?
So, I will get up from this bed and go do me on a Tuesday...that's random and Happy at the same time.

Love and Hugs,
Heidi💜

An Awww Monday mixed with a Happy Tuesday

Today, meaning Monday, has been relaxing. But really, isn't it already tomorrow at 3:19am? Needless to say, I was able to nap today. My husband says I slept through two movies that I had set the t.v. to play for him.
Technically, it is Happy Tuesday,
So, maybe we can consider that fact. As far as today goes, I probably ate too much chocolate. Even if was dark chocolate. The good-for-you kind. That's worth something, right? Let's channel dark chocolate for the magnesium win! Just so we can feel better about eating it.

Maybe, just maybe I should get some rest. Even if it's only a couple of hours of rest. I mean, my nap earlier should account for something. The good thing is my cats sleep at night. They don't get the zoomies at night. My boys
save their shenanigans for the day. Oh, and Monday Sparks. I cannot forget that prompt.
Much love Until Next Time.
Heidi💜

HAPPY TUESDAY, GLP-1 DAY 11

A golden retriever and a yellow labrador standing with two kittens on a blue background, surrounded by paw prints, with the text 'Happy Tuesday!'Post a funny picture. Post a not so funny picture.

Post whatever weirdness you want. That’s it.

Being happy is a good thing.

These are the things that make me happy ❗

Today is happy because cats are here. PERIOD.

This morning we had an eye appointment for David.  All went well.

David was encouraged by the doctor that research WAS BEING DONE ON RESTORING VISION BY stem cells and also implants.  In the future, of course.  That is still hopeful.

✨My GLP-1 journey is like this: mornings are kind of queasy. The rest of the day seems good.

Monti is ready for bed. HA  HA

Happy Tuesdays, GLP-1 day 3

Being happy is a good thing.

Today is a day of appointments. Physical therapy, then a doctor checkup- all for David. Zach took us this morning, and Mama will pick us up from our first appointment to eventually take us to the next one.

I had a restful night. No problems with nausea or anything else. This morning I was nervous about being away from home. In case I get sick. When we arrived at therapy, we were greeted by a new therapist- a lady. I like her. I think David does too 😉.

I ate applesauce and sipped on my loaded tea from last night. My tumbler stays cold with ice. For lunch, I brought a serving of peanut butter and jelly bites.  They are protein bagel bites. I packed a ginger ale so my stomach can stay settled. Ginger helps with nausea.

David's afternoon appointment went well. Blood Pressure-121/80. Blood sugar: 107, A1c 6.6

This afternoon, D and I rode to Suffolk with mama. She got a chicken breast sandwich (grilled) at the local corner shop. We ate half each. I didn't eat any bread.

I find myself wanting to eat but then again not. Do you know, I passed on eating an orange icing cupcake- Hostess but I did eat Life Savor peppermints- probably too many...ugh. It's only been since Friday night that I took my shot.

Supper-Grilled chicken bites, side salad, low-fat honey mustard dressing, and a Diet Coke-all from Chick-fil-A-who can resist that?

My stomach was queasy a bit. Sat outside with Smokey. Eventually, I felt relaxed enough to sleep after a bath and some reading.

Until Next Time,

Heidi💜
